Alicia Takahashi Delgado
Alicia Takahashi Delgado was born in Chonq Quing, China. She is currently 15 years old and lives in Gijón (Asturias). Her passion is the sea and that's why she started surfing at age 12. Her special gift for surfing allowed her to start competing at 13, being selected in 2017 and 2018 to represent Asturias in the Spanish Championship for autonomies of which she feels especially proud.
Alicia got the title of absolute Champion of Asturias in 2017, being Champion of Asturias in her category in 2018 and won at the Surf Open, Music and Friends in Salinas this year.
In addition to surfing, Alice enjoys animals, especially dogs and horses, soccer, maths and music; she plays piano and guitar in her spare time.
Traveling and discovering new places, trying new waves, new people, is one of the things that makes her happiest and what else she want to be able to do in the future although she knows that he has a long and hard way to go,
She believes that with effort and enthusiasm everything can be achieved.
Alicia Takahashi Delgado nacio en Chonq Quing, China. Actualmente tiene 15 años y vive en Gijón (Asturias). Su pasión es el mar y por ello comenzó a practicar surf a los 12 años. Su especial don para el surf le permitió empezar a competir a los 13, siendo seleccionada en 2017 y 2018
para representar a Asturias en el Campeonato de España por autonomías de lo cual se siente especialmente orgullosa.
Alicia consiguió el titulo de Campeona de Asturias absoluta en 2017, siendo Campeona de Asturias de su categoría en el año 2018 y venció en el Open de Surf, Music and Friends en Salinas este mismo año.
Además del surf, Alicia disfruta con los animales, en especial los perros y los caballos, el fútbol, las matemáticas y la música; toca el piano y la guitarra en sus ratos libres .
Viajar y conocer sitios nuevos , probar olas nuevas, gente nueva, es una de las cosas que más feliz la hace y que más desea poder hacer en el futuro. Y aunque sabe que le queda un largo y duro camino por recorrer, cree que con esfuerzo e ilusión todo se puede llegar a alcanzar.
