Daniel García (Dani Slash)

 

Daniel García, was born in Avilés on January 3, 1974. He has always had a life linked to sport, in his time with football and later discovered surfing, a sport that really touched him one hundred percent and caused a change in his life completely.

Currently works as Manager in "Slash Boards", work that he loves. This work allows him to enjoy contact with surfers, surfers, friends, travel and enjoy from within a brand that has always fascinated him and for which he feels great admiration, both for his boards, and for his Marcos Slash shaper, which undoubtedly for him he is the best.
In his free time he likes to be in contact with nature, of course, if it is close to the sea, better! It gives you the peace of mind you need to have in your day to day, in addition to practicing sports and enjoying your friends and family. When all this coincides on the same day, he is satisfied.
The waves that most like to surf are, without a doubt, in the first place Xagó for the quality and strength, San Juan and Salinas because they are the beaches where I have grown and I continue to live. Other places where I have surfed and enjoyed its waves are France, Maldives, Basque Country and Cantabria.

Daniel García, nació en Avilés el 3 de Enero de 1974. Siempre ha tenido una vida vinculada al deporte, en su momento con el fútbol y posteriormente descubrío el surf,  deporte que realmente le apasionó al cien por cien y provocó un cambio en su vida por completo.

Actualmente trabaja de Manager en "Slash Boards", trabajo que le encanta. Este trabajo le permite disfrutar del contacto con el surf, surfistas, amigos, viajar y disfrutar desde dentro de una marca que siempre le apasionó y por la que siente gran admiración, tanto por sus tablas, como por su shaper Marcos Slash, que sin duda para él es el mejor.
En su tiempo libre le gusta estar en contacto con la naturaleza, por supuesto, si es cerca del mar ¡mejor! Le da la tranquilidad que necesita tener en su día a día, además  de practicar deporte y disfrutar de sus amigos y familia. Cuando coincide todo esto en el mismo día se da por satisfecho.
Las olas que más le gustan surfear son, sin duda, en primer lugar Xagó por la calidad y fuerza, San Juan y Salinas porque son las playas donde he crecido y sigo viviendo. Otros lugares donde he surfeado y disfrutado de sus olas son Francia, Maldivas, País Vasco y Cantabria.
